The Lettuce Page
Hello! I’m Leafy, and I’m Mr. Carrotty Kid’s trusty old postman! Hello! Wait, did I say that already? I’m such a forgetful old lettuce.
Anyway, Mr. Kid gets sackfuls of mail every week, being the popular carrot that he is. It’s a lot of work for poor Leafy, let me tell you!
Sometimes, Mr. Kid even gets mail sent to his computer, but how they fit the envelopes down those wires I just don’t know.
Here are some more of those electronic mails that Mr. Kid has received recently. Enjoy!
First up is this lovely drawing of Mr. Kid, drawn by John-Marc. Excellent work, yes? You can enjoy more of Master Marc’s wonderful work over at his website, The Grass is Green Enough. Hurrah!
Next up we have another fine offering from Master Mooneyman, who is becoming quite a regular in the Lettuce Page. This time, he’s done this fabulous little comic strip starring his creation Professor Pigface, and a certain carrot chap. Click on the image above to see it in all it’s glory!
Two excellent pieces of work, there! And, in case you missed them last time around, here are last week’s masterpieces:
- This first piece is by a Master. Mooneyman, a talented young cartoonist from the United Kingdom. Young Mooneyman also has a website of his own, chronicling the adventures of his own character, Professor Pigface. Go here to see more. Good work, Mooneyman!
- Now this striking, black and white image is from a Mr. Michael Shepherd from Alabama. That’s in America, kids! Thanks very much for your submission, Mr. Shepherd! You have a nice day, now!
- Finally, this is a new character dreamt up for CK’s future adventures by Holly Seymour, from Portsmouth in the UK. We like this a lot, Holly - although Mr. Kid reckons he’s got enough worries in his life without fretting about the Podmother as well! Stupid carrot, says I.

hey i love your work,the carroty kid reminds me of an old boyfriend i had once yea im so happy the phaze is over!!!!he once yelled out in the middle of class”no mrs.ryson dont kill the limabean ” and it was totally math class my faverit subject. oh and he also wanted to be a pro boxer or astrunat? im so sorry to dump this on you but ive been going through such a reough path lately HE DUMPED ME FOR HEAVENS SAKE ,,gosh FOR A BOY I TELL YOU A BOOYY!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway love your art really inspirring me to become a veteranarian insted of a safty manager at a recycling plant!
